Core Values

Prioritizing Public Safety

First and foremost, our priority as a community is to ensure the safety of our families. I will work to assure that every family, regardless of circumstance, feels safe in their neighborhood. Our first responders, including fire, police, and emergency service providers must have the resources needed to ensure the fastest response times possible when disaster strikes.

Improving Neighborhood Infrastructure

The conditions of our parks, roads, and sidewalks are often day to day frustrations we all share. Whether it’s a broken sidewalk, pothole, or overgrown tree, together, we will implement common-sense fixes to enhance our public spaces and improve the quality of life for all in the Northeast San Fernando Valley.

Fighting for Healthy Neighborhoods

Together, we will work to promote healthier communities by increasing access to clean and safe parks, youth programs and work to end homelessness. This also means expanding resources, especially for those most vulnerable, to receive access to quality and affordable housing. My goal is to ensure that all of our neighborhoods reach their full potential.

Bringing Transparency, Efficiency, and Innovation to City Hall

Creating a culture of accountability and transparency at City Hall begins with sharing resources and empowering our communities to engage with local government. I will work to improve our neighborhoods through increasing access to city services, fixing decades-old broken systems, and bringing new technology and innovation to City Hall.

Building a Strong Local Economy and Supporting Small Businesses

One of the best ways to grow our local economy is to make sure we attract, retain, and support our small businesses. I am committed to bringing in new economic investment into our community, revitalizing our business corridors, and promoting common sense fixes to our business tax system, procurement processes, and regulations to allow job creators to succeed in the Northeast San Fernando Valley.
