Los Angeles, CA - Today, the Los Angeles City Council approved an ordinance based on a motion presented by the City’s Chair of the Public Safety Committee, Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, to shut off power services at unlicensed cannabis shops. The ordinance advances to the Mayor’s desk to be signed, and upon his signature and the ordinance’s publication, it will go into effect immediately.

LOS ANGELES - Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez secured over $500,000 to fund navigation, hygiene, and supportive services for homeless families in the Seventh Council District.
