Los Angeles Latino American Heritage Month is a celebration of Latino Americans in the United States. For over three decades, the City of Los Angeles has held a series of events throughout the month to highlight the significant contributions that Latinos have made to the City’s past, present, and future. Jaws in the Water Headed to the Largest Public Pool in the Country

Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez and the City of Los Angeles will host a free outdoor movie screening of the 1975 classic thriller Jaws at the Hansen Dam Aquatic Center, the largest municipal pool in the United States. The event will offer music, free food (popcorn, water, and hotdogs), a mechanical shark, and resources to register for swimming lessons. Entrance to the pool is free.
