Eboney serves as the Executive Assistant & Scheduler for Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez while supporting staff throughout Councilwoman Rodriguez's 7th District offices of the City of Los Angeles.
Prior to joining the Councilwoman's team, she worked with at-risk youth for several years as an instructor and counselor to assist students obtain a High School Equivalency Diploma. While teaching, she aided multiple candidates running for elected office throughout Southern California. Eboney’s professional background also includes working for research institutions such as RAND Corporation and the University of Southern California’s Center for Urban Education.
A Fresno State alum, Eboney holds a Bachelor's Degree in Family Science with multiple certificates in Leadership Development. Although a native of the South Bay, Eboney has spent years working in Los Angeles holding leadership roles in multiple political action committees. As the first African-American & Korean elected to serve as an executive officer of the Korean American Democratic Committee, Eboney continues to volunteer in programs that reflect her passions for coalition building, social justice, and education. Her volunteer involvement in the community has also led to her appointment to serve as a Commissioner on the Homeless Services Advisory Committee in the City of Long Beach.
